AMRITSAR: Well-known journalist Mr, Kuldeep Nayar, chairman of the National Minorities Commission, Mohammad Sardar Ali Khan and another member of the Commission, Mr.Balwant Singh Ramoowalia, were honored by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) at a function organized at Company Bagh.
All of them were presented with a silver salver, a sword, a shawl, a Set of books and Rs 51,000 each by the SGPC president, Gurcharan. Singh Tohra.
Among others present on the occasion were the Akal Takht Jathedar, Prof Manjit Singh, the ‘Takht Damdama Sahib Jathedar, Giani Kewal Singh and the SGPC secretary, Manjit Singh Calcutta.
