Chandigarh: Mr. Atma Singh and Ujjagar Singh Sekhwan two senior leaders of United Akali dal said here today that there was no question of their returning to Akali Dal (L). Taking strong notice of the reported statement of Press secretary of Akali Dal (L). Mr. Sujit Singh Tokhi that nobody who has left the party and joined the United Akali Dal would be readmitted. They would not join a party that had become subordinate to Delhi Darbar. They were committed to maintain the temporal and spiritual authority of the Akal Takht which, they alleged, Akali Dal was trying to sell to the center.
