Amritsar S.G.P.C. budget for the year 198586 was passed at the meeting here presided by the Acting President of S.G.P.C. S. Prem Singh Lalpura. According to the rules entire income in the course of the year is spent in the same year. The expenditure this year had increased on account of the forced compulsions after the Operation Blue Star. There is a deficit of 44 Lakh10 thousand as per the budget.

Harchand Singh Longowal, President Akal Dal was also present in the meeting. S. Jagdev Singh Talwandi, President Talwandi Akali Dal who is also S.G.P.C. member, left just after signing the attendance register without participating.
