LUDHIANA, India: S. Harinder Singh, acting President of S.G.P.C., has condemned police search of Gurdwara Manji Sahib at Alamgir, 13 km from here. The police had neither procured objectionable material nor apprehended any freedom fighters during the search. Three persons including a Kashmiri laborer were taken in custody.
Harinder Singh refuted the allegation of the Prime Minister and said that no undesirable elements were there in the Golden Temple nor any arms were there. Kar Sewa trucks were not allowed entry into the Complex, he said. He maintained that the C.D. personnel were present round the clock in the Complex and if there were any undesirables in the Complex why they were not arrested.
