‘CHANDIGARH, India:
Mr. JLF. Ribeiro, adviser to the Punjab Governor, Mr. S.S. Ray, has been given another extension of one year as a member of the Indian Police Service.
A notification issued by the Union Home Ministry on Thursday said that Mr. J.P. Ribeiro, IPS, presently adviser to the Punjab Governor, had been granted further extension in service till May 31, 1989, “in public interest”, Mr. Ribeiro, then Director General of Police, Punjab, had been given one year extension in the IPS on June 1, 1987.
