From Pragpur Jullundur to Stockton, California was a long journey for Resham Singh. In 1975 he came to this country but before he could take the start he had to undergo a major open heart surgery. He was the third person to undergo a similar operation in this country.
Undeterred, he started his career as factory worker and now owns a motel in Rio Vista. He has been regular in attending the Gurdwara Sahib Stockton and served as secretary of the executive Committee of Gurdwara Sahib in 198687. He and his wife Surjit Kaur are devoted panthic workers and are proud parents of Rajinder, Jaspal and Kamaljit.
