NEW DELHI: The Prime Minister was recently informed that a senior Research and Analysis Wing (equivalent to the CIA) officer was recently deported from Kuwait for smuggling gold in diplomatic pouches.
The Kuwaiti Police seized the parcel he was carrying and found gold concealed among papers. No action has been taken against the erring officer.
