RAVINDER SINGH SHERGILL Design Engineer stormed into public life after the infamous Operation Blue Star on Golden Temple in 1984. He represented the spirit of the youth who were ready to sacrifice everything to take the revenge for an attack on the holiest of the holy Golden Temple, Amritsar, Mr. Shergill who was born at village Mann, District Gurdaspur, in 1956, did his graduation from Sant Singh Sukha Singh Khalsa Higher Secondary School, Amritsar, in 1972. After one year (pre Engineering) in Khalsa College Amritsar, Mr. Shergill migrated to U.S.A. in 1974. He graduated from U.C. Berkeley College of Engineering in 1980. He is now employed with National Semi Conductor Corp. in Santa Clara as Staff Design Engineer in the area of integrated circuit (chips) design. He is married with two children.
Mr. Shergill has complete control over his head and heart. He is widely respected by the community for his services rendered for the glory of the Panth.
