LUDHIANA: Mr. Madan Mohan, President of the Punjab unit of BJP has charged the Prime Minister for not resolving the Punjab problem. He said the Prime Minister, during his visit to Punjab in September, had said that an all-party meeting would be called to resolve the Punjab problem. But no steps have been taken to convene such a meeting. The Prime Minister had labeled all other parties as communal but the facts were otherwise, he said.
Mr. Mittal alleged that the center had made the Punjab issue as communal whereas there was no ban on the recitation of Bani by non-Punjabis.
