NEW DELHI (PTI):Stalwart Rajbir Rai of the 1982 New Delhi Asian games fame will lead the Indian women’s hockey team on fortnight long tour of Holland and Germany next month.
Amavaz Damania, president of the Indian Women’s Hockey Federation (IWHF), announced the team after the selection trials here March 26.
Damania said the tour of Holland and Germany, from April 6 to 24, was part of [WHF’s foreign exposure program preparatory to the 4th Intercontinental cup to be held in Philadelphia (USA) in July this year.
The team is expected to be ac companied by five officials, the TWH chief said.
