The noted ‘sprint queen P.T. Usha was accorded a ‘Civic reception’, by the Municipal Corporation here on Wednesday.
The former State Minister for Irrigation, Mr. Chandra Kumar Bhanot presented the ‘civic addresses to her after eulogizing her sports performance in Los Angeles Olympics which brought glory to the country.
Replying to the address and felicitations offered to her on this occasion, Usha said that she was making all possible efforts so that her performance in the coming Seoul Olympics may further add to the glory of the country.
