NEW DELHI (PTI): The Lower House of Indian Parliament (Lok Sabha) June 13 admitted an adjournment motion seeking to censure the government for its failure to meet the sugar situation resulting in the import of the commodity at higher prices.
Raising the issue during zero hour leader of the opposition Atal Bihari Vajpayee said he had given a notice of adjournment motion to centre the government on the issue
He said sugar was being sold at near personalized import of 626 tons of sugar up to June 9 1994 the Rajya Sabha was told Monday.
