Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Police had arrested 60 persons in Delhi for unleashing a reign of terror through a premeditated and well-coordinated action of arson, rape, plunder and murder of innocent Sikhs.

Diplomat: That’s right.

Journalist: Mrs. Ram Dulari Sinha, Minister of State, Home Affairs has confirmed in the Parliament that more than 2100 innocents were massacred in Delhi Holocaust.

Diplomat: Very correct.

Journalist: How is it that most of the 60 persons held for the murder of 2100 (Govt. figures) persons have been released on bail, whereas innocent Sikhs arrested without any charge are invariably refused bail? Do you have different laws for different communities in your country? Diplomat: Not in National Interest to Disclose.

Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Golden Temple in Amritsar was attacked by the army because a handful of alleged antinational elements were suspected to be hiding there.

Diplomat: That’s right.

Journalist: Antinational activity is a serious offense and demands stringent army action to put an end to it.

Diplomat: Very correct.

Journalist: How is it that army was not used to destroy the antinational elements operating for over two years from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, President’s information wing, Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs etc. etc.? Do you think that demands for justice and equality are more dangerous than selling sensitive information to foreign powers that can jeopardize the very existence of the country?

Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Army Chief, Gen. Vadiya has claimed that all extremist have been exterminated in Punjab.

Diplomat: That’s right.

Journalist: Government have also been claiming that the extremists were only the disgruntled, frustrated and misguided lot and constituted a negligible number among the overwhelmingly nationalist Sikhs.

Diplomat: Very correct.

Journalist: How is it that even after exterminating every single extremist, the army has not been withdrawn from Punjab and elections there would not be held along with other States that are going to the polls in March? What other dangers are still lurking in Punjab?

Diplomat: Not in National Interest to Disclose.
