Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Mr. Biju Patnaik, former Chief Minister of Orissa and a senior leader of the Janata Party has suggested that the name of Punjab State he changed to Khalistan.

Ambassador: That’s right.

Journalist. He has also suggested that complete autonomy be given to Khalistan on the assurance that Sikhs will not disturb the territorial integrity of the country.

Ambassador: Very Correct.

Journalist: How can Rajiv Gandhi give serious thought to such a proposal when he is bowling with vendetta against Sikhs? Don’t you think people like Arun Nehru would do anything to keep Hindu passions worked up against Sikhs so as to make electoral gains?

Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Sikhs constitute only 2% of the Indian population yet among Rajiv Gandhi’s 18 Cabinet rank Ministers there are two Sikhs which means that Sikhs have over 11% representation in the Central Cabinet.

Ambassador: That’s right.

Journalist: On the other hand a large State likes Andhra Pradesh, Which is ruled by Telegu Desam Party, is virtually unrepresented in. the Cabinet.

Ambassador: Very Correct.

Journalist: Does it mean Rajiv considers Sikhs superior to Andradite’s or is he only deceiving the World by keeping spineless puppets in the Cabinet for window dressing?

Journalist: Mr. Ambassador, Indian lobbyists have come out with a sensational story that Sikhs plan to blow up Expo 86.

Ambassador: That’s right.

Journalist: They want the world to believe pure fiction which in conception and narration makes a mockery of human capacity for credibility.

Ambassador: Very Correct.

Journalist: Don’t you think the story has been concocted to cover the Indian Governments plot to blow up Expo 86 and then to blame it on the Sikhs? Is it not an extension of Indira Gandhi’s old strategy of getting Hindu passengers killed by her party men to discredit the Dharam Yudh Morcha.
