EUROPE: E.C. farmers in France protested pricing policies and booksellers in England gathered support for neighborhood shops in apposition to large scale vendors like Crown and B Dalton bookstores. Countries in the E.C. are finding it difficult to decide on whose money. We’ll be the case for the yet-to-be issued ECU currency. Both British and German bankers are particularly interested in this issue as the pound sterling and Deutche mark have in the past set economics standards.
