NEW DELHI, Indi An Air force jet crashed in a village in the northern state Haryana Wednesday, injuring five children and damaging a home, the Press Trust of India said.

The domestic news agency said the plane’s pilot ejected safely before the aircraft slammed into the ground in the village near Sirsa, about 150 miles northeast of New Delhi.

Five children were injured when the wall of a house hit by the jet collapsed, said news agency said.
