STOCKTON,CA: May 21, 1995: During Prof. Manjit Singh ji’s visit to historic Sikh, Gurdwara of Stockton, a delegation of American Muslim Alliance led by Mr. Khalid Jafri made an appeal to Singh Sahib. Mr, Jaf requested Singh Sahib to issue a hukanama to Sikhs in the Indian armed forces not to participate in demolition of religious places of any religion. Responding to the appeal from the Muslim brothers Prof, Sahib conveyed that he has already condemned the demolition of Chrara-e-Sharief in Kashmir. He again emphasized that such acts should be condemned with the strongest possible words, which so ever may be responsible for the acts, He also made it clear that all places of religious worships are to be respected. It should be also noted that Mr. Jafri is one of the founders of Sikh Muslim Friendship Society in America and the American Muslim Alliance represents and Seven Million Muslims in ‘America, Following is the text of Mr. Jafri’s resolution.
