Paramjit Singh Fagoora was born in Chak 55 GB in dist. Lyallpur now in Pakistan to parents, Charan Kaur Fagoora and Nazar Singh Fagoora. The Family narrowly survived the holocaust of Indian partition and settled in Dist. Jallander. Dr. Fagoora moved to Fresno in 1976 and was the first Panjabi Sikh Doctor to start private practice in Fresno. Dr. Fagoora specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye with special interest in cataract, lens implant and laser eye surgery. Dr. Fagoora is the only Sikh eye doctor to own and operate a Medicare approved Ambulatory Surgical Center, in the nation, for providing economical and efficient eye care to valley residents since 1985.
Harjeet Kaur Fagoora an Internist started her private practice in 1984 after completing her residency at the local valley Medical center. Dr. H. Fagoora has special interest in preventive medicine and weight control program.
Family has two children, Kanwar 11 yrs. and Vikrum 6 yrs. Family wishes unity among Sikhs of the world, hope and pray all the Sikhs follow the same set of principles laid down by our universal father Guru Gobind Singh.
