Dr. Harbhajan Singh Shergill is a person of varied interests and hobbies. His is physician by profession, an artist by nature, a Photographer of immanence, a poet by intellect and a sincere, committed Sikh.
Dr. Shergill was born to Sardarni Kartar Kaur and S. Pritam Singh on Feb. 14, 1945 at Chak 32 BB District Ganganangar (Rajisthan). Shergill was the product of Khalsa School and Khalsa College Ganga Nagar. He did his matriculation in 1960 and pre/medical in 1964. He got his M.B.B.S. Degree in 1969 from Gout Medical College Patiala. He immediately went to England (Moriston Wales) for higher education in medicine. He also studied at Ohio and London (Ont Canada) in general medicine. Dr. Shergill selected Stockton for medical practice and shifted here in 1978. Now he is one of the leading medical practitioners of the area.
Dr. Shergill was married to Mrs. Harminder Kaur in Feb. 1970. Shergill are the proud parents of Ran deep (14), Amandeep (12), Kanwardeep (9) and Sundeep (6).
Dr. Shergill is the main source of historic, religious and social photographs to the World Sikh News. His collections of the photographs of The Sikh Martyrs who laid their lives for the Glory of Panth and for Khalistan, are a valuable asset to people and WSN.
The new find of Dr. Shergill is the religious and revolutionary poetry. Dr. Shergill is a founder member of WSN and now he is a president of Sikh Educational, Social and Cultural Organization.
