NEW DELHI: The oil-well fires and oil spill in the Gulf will have no significant adverse effect on the weather and Monsoons over India according to an assessment by the Indian metrological department.
Considering the apprehensions relating to the impacts on marine life climate Monsoons agriculture and migratory birds soon after the start of the Gulf war the government constituted an interdepartmental coordination group to assess and deal with the effects of the Gulf war
