KUWAIT- Prosecutors Saturday charged four Kuwaitis with attempting to overthrow the government and the destruction of Kuwait’s political and economic institutions.
The four defendants Ahmad Haidar, Mustafa Sayed Ali, Saleh Ahmed Hassan and Hassan’s brother, Abdul Hamid were also accused of undergoing weapons training in an “unidentified country,” the sources said.
The security sources said the four were arrested after authorities obtained evidence of their alleged antigovernment activities. No details were released Saturday.
