SRINAGAR: Fifteen persons including six militants were killed and 58 others arrested from the Kashmir valley since Monday overnight while normal life remained paralyzed throughout the valley for the second successive day Tuesday.
Of the six militants killed two have been identified as Ghulam Hassan Mir aias “Gauhar™ of Litter and Abdul Rashid Bakshi of Kharoo (Ananinag) district areca commander of the outlawed Hizbul Mujahideen.
Quoting eye witnesses the spokesman said there was heavy exchange of fire between the security forces and the militants and the security forces chased the militants who ran for cover while firing at the forces.
