CHICAGO: Sikh Religious Society of Chicago organized a Sikh Gurmat camp for children ages 6-16 years from August 4 to Aug.10, 1991 at camp Reinberg in Deer-Grove Forest preserves in Palatine Illinois. Over 70 Sikh boys and girls attended the camp where Sikh way of life Seva Sikh history Gurbani Kirtan and Gurmukhi language were taught Group discussions of Sikh heritage and Sikh youth problems were also held. “With the help of many volunteers the camp concluded very successfully” remarked S.R.S. President S.Harbans Singh Sangha at the camp closing ceremonies
