Chandigarh: Mr. Ram Jeth malanee a senior Advocate of Supreme Court today concluded argument before a division bench of Punjab and Haryana High Court consisting of Mr. Justice Tiwatiah, Mr. Justice Surinder Singh in a habeas corpus. Petition filed by Mr. Gurinder Kaur challenging detention of her husband Mr. Simaramjit Singh Mann, a former group commander of Industrial security force Bombay. Counsel argued that the letters written by the detainees to the President did not amount to sedition or a war against the state. The letters were written to express his anguish at the Army attack on the Golden Temple, he said.
