CHANDIGARH India: “Our history tells us that we have lost battles because of the role played by traitors. Today again the disruptive forces are trying again to disintegrate our nation and we have to fight against them to save our country”, these observations were made by Balram Jakhar, Lok Sabha Speaker while delivering the Presidential address at the annual prize distribution function at D.A.V. College, Chandigarh. “The country will go to ruins if we let it get divided on religious grounds. Violence and democracy could not live together. If this happens might will win only at the cost of the democracy. Many outside powers are waiting to see India destroyed but we must not let this happen”, Balram added.
