CANDIGARH, India: U.A.D. leader Parkash Singh Badal is being protected by men of the Haryana CID at his residence, according to reliable information. Four plain clothed men of Haryana Police guards are posted at the residence of Badal in addition to the men of Punjab and Chandigarh police who are on normal duty. Badal met the Haryana Chief Minister, Devi Lal on February 4, apparently it was after this meeting that Haryana security men were posted at his residence.
