Harmohan 8. Sohi, a successful businessman, and a sincere friend, was born at Village Pateh Garh, (a historic village of “Sukkar Chakia Misal) on September 1, 1947. His parents S. Sunder Singh and Tejwant Kaur, belonged to a village Abdal, migrated to this historic place.
Sohi passed his matriculation from S.J. S. Hr. Sc. School Verka in 1964-65. He got a degree of B. Sc. from Khalsa College Amritsar in 1968. For a few months the young Sohi worked at irrigation research center Amritsar. Later Sohi migrated to U.K, in 1972 in search of better opportunities of life. He tried his luck up to 1978, when he decided to fly more high to cover some more horizons, in company with his newly wedded wife, Ranjit Kaur. Sohis are known businessmen at Stockton and are popular figures in social and religious circles. They are the proud parents of a girl Sima (12 yrs.) and a boy, Amar Preet (11 yrs.),
Sohis are loved in friendly circles, because of their affectionate and hospitable nature.
