In February, 1977, some people felt the need of another gurdwara and a decision was made. The land was donated by S. Chachal Singh Rai, popularly known as Taya and foundation was laid in April, 1980 on Baisakhi Day after continued recitation of five consecutive Akhand Paths.
There are nine Trustees who have donated more than $5000 and cosigned the loan application and there are 45 Directors who have paid $2000) each.
A weekly diwan is held on Saturday evenings and Sangr and is celebrated on schedule. Apart from other Gurpurabs, Diwali and Guru Nanak Birthday are the major events that the Sangat celebrates with great enthusiasm.
The Complex has spacious grounds and accommodation is available for the visitors. The gurdwara complex itself is spread over 10 acres and building’s covered area is 22,000 sq. feet. Main hall which is 115’X90″ in area has spacious dining hall. Sewadars are elected annually and amicably.
