FRESNO: Area Sikhs are having 8 fundraising dinner November 8 for Congressman Cal Dooley, who was elected in November 1990 for the 17th district of California. He took oath of the office January 3,191, as a member of the 102nd Congress. The 17th District comprises all of Tulare and Kings Counties and parts of Fresno and Kem counties in South Central California; Dooley is a San Joaquin Valley Farmer and serves on many important committees. He is a member of the Foreign policy caucus and Congressional Friends of Human Rights Monitor.
