AMRITSAR, Punjab, India: The Sikh freedom fighters denied the police story that they had killed two police informers in the Golden Temple and then thrown their bodies outside the Complex.

Police claimed Mohinder Singh and two others were supplying information to the police.

However, the freedom fighters blamed the crime on the police and said that the two Sikhs were killed by the police to scare away people from coming to the Golden Temple to celebrate Guru Gobind Singh’s birthday.
