JULLUNDUR, India: Some unidentified persons stormed the house of Mr. Ratneesh Singh Sodhi, the Chief of “Daily Akali Patrika” and mowed down four policemen in a blaze of automatic fire. All these policemen were guarding the house of Mr. Sodhi in Model Town Jullundur.
The victims have been identified as Makhan Singh, Constable Baljit Singh, Prem Lal and Madan Lal.
This surprise attack made at midnight appeared to have been aimed at the police only as no attempt was made to enter the house of Mr. Sodhi.
