YUBA CITY,CA: Retired Yuba City teacher Hari Singh Everest has been reappointed to the State Department of Education’s Advisory Council on Asian Pacific Is lander Affairs. Everest, 77, received news of the appointment from acting state Superintendent of Public Instruction William D.Dawson .
The council helps develop educational policy for the Asian community within the general state curriculum.
