NEW DELHI, Reuter: The inaugural Afro-Asian games, uniting sportsmen and women from 84 countries in the two continents, will be held in New Delhi in November 1991, the United News of India said.
‘The Agency said the Olympic Council of Asia and the Association of Olympic Committees of Africa had agreed on the venue and date and had confirmed them to the International Olympic Committee.
About 2,000 competitors are expected to take part in 10 sports which have yet to be decided.
