DR. ANMOL SINGH MAHAL got his Higher Secondary education at D.A.V. Higher Secondary School, New Delhi and graduated in April 1965. He got his M.B.B.S. degree from All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi in December 1971. He did straight medical internship residency in internal medicine at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, Affiliated Hospitals, Newark, New Jersey. He was the Chief Medical resident at the Beth Israel Medical Centre, New Jersey Medical School, and Newark, New Jersey from July, 75 to June 76. He got his fellowships in Gastroenterology at the Stanford University Medical Centre, Stanford, Ca. from July 77 to June, 79. He started his private practice at Freemont in July, 79. He is on the medical boards as Diplomat, American Board of Internal Medicine from June 76 and Diplomat, American Board of Gastroenterology from June, 79.
His wife, Dr. Surjit Kaur Mahal, is a popular personality. She got her M.B.B.S. from Government Medical College, Patiala. She also did her residency in New Jersey and now practices family practice in Freemont.
