New Delhi — about 600 riot affected victims from various relief camps in Delhi held a rally outside the D.D.A. office (Vikas Minar) on Wednesday. They were demanding alternative and safe houses for themselves.

The victims, women and children, from various relief camps including Nanak Piao, Nanaksar, Rakabganj, Motibagh and Balasahib gurdwaras and the camps at Farash Bazar, Subi Mandi, Shakarpur, Han Nagar, Jehangirpuri, Sultanpuri and Mongolpuri carried placards displaying slogans like “Back to Graveyards? Never,” “If P.M. cannot live in a haunted house, how can we?” and ‘‘Alternative houses in safe localities for all victims.”
