NEW DELHI, India: Mr. P.R. Kumramanglam Convener of the A.I.C.C. (L) Labour wing has accused the Delhi police of high handedness and interference in the legitimate union activities with the connivance of concerned managements in a bid to crush Trade Union Movement in the capital.

In this regard he pointed out two incidents involving the management of the public sector undertakings. He charged the police with fabricating false cases against the Union leaders of N.P.C.C. and refusing to accept their bail plea in the police station along even though they could be released by the S.H.O. Kalkaji himself.

In a letter to the Commissioner of Delhi Police Mr. Kumaramanglam requested him to take suitable action against those police officers who shielded corrupt management.
