Healthy, active and soft spoken Daljit Mahal came to U.S.A. in 1955 under PAU quota. He belongs to village Mahal Kalan. He came straight to Gurdwara Sahib Stockton in taxi from San Francisco Airport.
He has served the Indian Army for 5 years as J.C.O. He was born in Sargodha District in Pakistan. All these years he lived in Lodi and Stockton and has been attending the Gurdwara ever since he put his foot on this soil. He started his career as a farm worker and after taking the citizenship served the Stockton Unified School District for 25 years. He has happily retired and is proud father of three sons, Baldey Mahal and Harbans Mahal are working in State and Dameron Hospital. Daljeet Mahal has been trustee of the Gurdwara Sahib Stockton for 8 years.
