Dear Editor,

In Please publish this letter, if it is it worth publishing, because it is a ery of my head, heart, soul, body and mind all put together. 6It has been so good of your paper to raise the voice of Sikhs in North “America against the slaughter of Sikhs in India. It is also worth “While to make our voice heard in western parliaments and other democratic bodies. I have no doubt of the share of the Indian government and its institutions have to be responsible for our slaughter in India during last 15 years. From (1978) would you make anybody else also responsible for our debacle? (I think it was) our self styled leadership at every stage of the struggle, mongering for the beads of our youth for the last 15 years and they got more than they expected.

What next? How many more heads of our young children do we feed to satisfy this demand? Who authorized us to make this demand? There has never been any accountability of the results of our actions, or of us being on the fore- front of the leadership without any legitimacy of any kind.

Why did your paper never demand and propagate to elect democratic bodies to have legitimacy of our leadership who would be accountable to the Sikh masses? Why have we not been able to make an elected parliament of our own in Canada, U.S.A. and U.K.? What peaceful process and procedures did we develop to raise, train, and develop our leadership in north America and U.K.? What have federations, Babbars, W.S.O. etc. have done to get elected by the Sikh sangats, and prove their legitimacy to be our leaders and demand more heads from our youth?

We will not get anywhere with these MultiFinder’s of our organizations if they are not ready to prove their legitimacy through universal elections by the Sikh masses.
