KOCHI: The Emakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate, 9S. Ganesakumaran Nair, on Jan.2, granted conditional bail to four of the six ‘accused in the space espionage case being’ investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Those released on bail were the senior scientists, D. Sasikumaran and Dr. Nambi Narayanan of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and the two Bangalore based scientists. “The bail’ was’ also on the condition that none’ of those released would interfere with the investigations, in progress, and that they would not leave the country.
