Ceylon to Ujjain: From Mannar, Guru Nanak reached at Rameshwaram, after having passed through Sathandu. According to Hindu traditions, this bridge was constructed by Sn Rama at the time of his invasion on Lanka (Ceylon). Muslims call it by Adam’s Bridge. At Rameshwaram, there is an old Gurdwara enshrining the memory of Guru Nanak, it is called Nanak Udasi Math Gurdwara.

Guru Nanak reached Trivandrum via Ramanadpuram; He passed through the places called Palam and Kottayam. There used to be a Gurdwara in between these two places. At Trivandrum, he visited the famous temple of Anantpuram. Guru Nanak, then visited Via Nilgini hills, preceded on to Biddara historical Gurdwara stands there. From Biddar to Nander, which today is recognized as one of the most sacred centers of Sikhism, The Gurdwara here is called Mal Tekri. He then, reached Broach via Daulatabad. Outside the Broach railway station, there is an old Gurdwara called Nanak Wari. Guru then journeyed to what is called Gujrat Kathiawar. From Parbaspatan (Veraval) he went to have a look at Som Nath Temple of Dwarka. He then travelled around Ginar rocks. There is a Gurdwara at Junagarh only 10 miles from Ginar rocks. This Gurdwara does not exist now. Before reaching Ujjain, Guru passed through Ahmedabad and Indore. Guru Nanak stayed at Ujjain near the famous Bharthari caves. Through Chittorgarh, Guru Nanak reached at Ajmernoted both for Hindus and Muslims, For Hindus, the Pushkar Lake considered most sacred and for Muslims, the Dargah of reknowed Chisti Saint, and MuinUdDin. There used to be a Gurdwara in the memory of Guru Nanak.

Mathura was reached Via Amber (now Jaipur) an ancient center of Pilgrimage of the Hindus. There used to be 2000 Buddhists monks and nuns living in as many as 20 monasteries. Skander Lodhi an Afghan roller of Delhi and Agra destroyed some of its old temples, Guru Nanak visited Keshva temple, later on destroyed by Aurangzeb as part of his campaign against Hindus, From Mathura back to Talwandi via Delhi. Evidenced having re seen Delhi on return journey by the existence of Nanak Piao Asthan, reached Sirsa Via Rewari and Hissar, At Sirsa, Guru Nanak stayed with a Muslim Fakir outside the town and one of the walls of a house near it bears the inscription of “Chilla Baba Nanak.” Baba Nanak used to meet the Chisti SaintFarid GanjiShakkar al Pakpattan, Baba Farid belonged to 13th century. Scikh Brahm (Ibrahim) was on the Gaddi of Baba Farid (11th in succession) and Baba Nanak devolved intimacy with this Holy man and never missed an opportunity to meet him whenever he happened to be passing this place.
