BUFFALO: Gurdwara Sahib celebrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib (our present guru) Gurggaddi Diwas on November 5, 1994. The greatness of the Guruji was emphasized through Gurbani Kirtan with interpretation by Sikh Youths from: various states of North America. Shabads on this occasion were selected on the theme “MAYA,” how it influences us and what are the solutions according to the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The participants were introduced by the Sikh. Youths from Buffalo Gurdwara, for five nonstop hours, Sikh Youths from ages 616 years presented the shabads on above mentioned theme. All the shabads in the program were interpreted by S. Kuldeep Singh from Toledo, OH, S. Kuldeep Singh organized the program with help of Dr. ‘Amarjit Singh from Buffalo, NY.

  1. Kuldeep Singh has been organizing Gurggaddi Diwas for the Last five years. Themes for those programs were “Need of Guru,” “Idol Worshipping,” “Cast System,” “Beware of fake Saints,” and “Maya.” Next year’s theme will be “Need of Initiation (Amrit) in Sikhism.”
