AMRITSAR: Sikh Students Federation chief Bhai Daljit Singh Khalsa has initiated moves to revamp the student movement in Punjab. In a statement he asked various student federations to join hands to realize the community’s goal of Khalistan. He said that there were no longer any differences about the goal in the Sikh community. In this situation a combined movement of the Sikh students is possible
Bhai Daljit Singh’s statement evoked considerable interest from the student community. Several student organizations welcomed the sentiments expressed by Bhai Daljit Singh. Specific measures by different organizations to step up the movement are likely in the next few weeks.
