NEW DELHI: The Bajrang Dal chief, Mr. Viney Katiyar, last week said that the government supported trust would not be allowed to construct the Ram temple in Ayodhya and if such a structure comes up it would be removed and a new one would be built in its place by the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas.
Mr. Katiyar old newspersons that construction of the temple could only be taken up by the Nyas. He said it was likely that the government may, with the help of the police, tries to build the temple, but the Bajrang Dal would remove it. The Bajrang Dal chief said that the Nyas was the oldest trust and could only construct the temple.
