NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a judicial enquiry into violence in the state following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi In a statement here on Thursday chief minister N Janardhan Reddy said that a four-member committee had been set up to tour not affected areas to assess the damage to property and individuals so that compensation could be paid to them. He said no attempts would be made to shield the guilty nor would innocent people be victimized.
