World Sikh News appeals to all Sikhs and Sikh organizations in North America to mobilize opinion against the deportation of Bhai Lakhbir Singh from Canada. Being the nephew of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and convener of International Sikh Youth Federation, he is bound to be physically liquidated if ever he sets foot on the Indian soil. Bhai Sahib has been leading a meticulously peaceful life and is not involved in any transgression of law anywhere in the world.
Bhai Sahib had applied for a permanent status in Canada. His application was turned down, reportedly, under pressure from the Indian government. His appeal is still pending with the Canadian immigration authorities. Please contact your Senator, Congressman, M.L.A. or M.P. and request him to effectively intervene to save Bhai Sahib from falling into the murderous hands of Indian butchers.
Speaking for Bhai Sahib is speaking for justice. It is speaking for yourself. It is speaking for all the persecuted Sikhs. Let not apathy or lethargy overtake you. You have a duty and you owe to your conscience and faith to perform it.
