HOUSTON TX: An Akhand Paath was performed from September 2 to 4 in the memory of the late Gen. Zia UL—Haq President of Pakistan here by the Sikh center. He was killed in an air crash recently.
The Sikhs all over the world were presenting Shard Anjali to Gen Zia for his services to Sikh Holy Shrines in Pakistan and his bold steps to allow Sikh pilgrims from all over the world to visit their holy places in Pakistan. Steps were also planned and being taken for the reconstruction of some of the Gurdwaras and for the Sikhs to manage these holy places.
