While no group claimed the responsibility for the blast, a senior police officer said the possibility of involvement of Iraqi or Palestinian agents in the capital, apparently to protest the us action in the Gulf, could not be ruled out.
It appeared the Punjab militants had no hand in the blast, said Kanwaljit Deol, deputy commissioner of police of the New Delhi district. However, I do not rule out the involvement of Iraqis or Palestinians, she said.
