NEW DELHI (PTI): Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader A.B. Vajpayee, Feb.26 said his party would intensify its campaign to oust the Rao government and hoped that the Congress] government would be “toppled ultimately.”

Addressing party workers observing an ‘ant repression’ day against alleged excesses to thwart the rally, he said Thursday’s rally received a nationwide response. He said an action plan would be chalked out at the BJP national executive meeting Saturday to remove the government through democratic means.

Condemning the security measures against party workers Vajpayee said all repressions would only make the BJP stronger.

Ridiculing the government claim that the rally was a flop, Vajpayee said if polls were held, the government would be nowhere and people would back the BJP overwhelmingly.

People in thousands came from outside to join the rally and Delhiittes extended their all possible cooperation and moral support to them, he said, adding the. Government’s desperate bid to foil BJP plan had failed.
