A press release by the organization said, The issue of the destruction of the Babri Mosque, a 500 year old house of worship and its replacement by a temple on November 9 is the most explosive issue today.”

Talking to the World Sikh News, Dr. A. Q. Muhammad Coordinator of the CMO said, “terrorist organizations like the Vishva Hindu Parishad are the real enemies of India. They are killing ‘Muslims and whipping up a mass anti-Muslim hysteria. If the 120 million Muslims of India adopt extra legal means of settling the disputes then a civil war will erupt in India.”

A number of Sikhs including Dr. Satwant Kaur Dhamoon, President Sikh Women’s International Organization, were present. Talking to WSN Dr. Dhamoon said that her organization stood against the violation of human rights of all the communities, as the Gurus had taught the Sikhs to do. As she lead the crowd, cries of Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal and Allah Hu Akbar mingled to proclaim the Almighty’s name.
