NEW DELHI, India: Mr. Vishwa Nath Pratap Singh, Ex-Defence Minister and leader of Jan Morcha, has accused the Government of scuttling the enquiry into West German submachine deal, In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Mr. V.P. Singh asked what prohibited from asking the West German government which owned 75% of the H.D.W. about the Commission paid to any person in that deal. The Defence Minister wrote that the way the government is dealing with the suspected Commission taken by Ajitabh Bachchan, has confirmed the belief that the highest men in authority have vested interest in confusing the issue and ‘concealing the truth.
